Do you spend time in the countryside?

Our countryside is beautiful and something we all want to take care of and enjoy.Unfortunately not everyone respects our rural areas, illegal fly-tipping and dumped cars are a regular occurrence across Cambridgeshire.

Anyone who uses the countryside whether driving, cycling or walking can help us prevent rural crime and catch offenders.

The more eyes and ears we have the greater our chances of success.

WHY WAIT - JOIN THE CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTRYSIDE WATCH NOW!

Basic principles

Members work towards securing their property using Minimum Security Standards with the assistance of a free security visit from the Countryside Watch Security Adviser.

The Benefits of Membership

Voice Mail Messages

Each member of Countryside Watch receives voice mail messages; direct to a landline telephone number of their choice, informing them of crimes and suspicious incidents, if you are a regular Countryside user and a member you can access information about it. If you are a regular user of the countryside you could see and hold valuable information about a crime. By contacting Cambridgeshire Countryside Watch you could help others be aware of the crimes.

Visual Deterrents

Each new member of Cambridgeshire Countryside Watch receives with their first years subscription, either one large or two small Countryside Watch Secured Area sign(s). These are for display on entrances to property. Window stickers are supplied for vehicles.

Security Equipment

Countryside Watch loans to members security equipment such as security alarms, electric engravers & die cast stamps . We also use our group buying power to purchase other marking and security products and pass on our discounts to members. Repeat victims of crime may be loaned (free of charge) other security equipment, such as alarms, to assist detection of returning criminals.

Security Advice & Guidance

Each new member of Cambridgeshire Countryside Watch will receive a security questionnaire in the joining pack provided. Once returned our Security Advisor will make contact with the member and if appropriate visit premises, offering free security advice. Should you have any questions or need help at any time your Cambridgeshire Countryside Watch Regional Officer will be available to help.
